DIARY OF A MAD SEA MONKEY LADY

Another morning, another radio interview. This is too cool! I have heard my name
is posted on some "book a guest for a radio show" website, and they must have said good
things about me as this is the fourth interview in as many weeks! I've done loads of interviews
before, but never so many unsolicited ones. I'm not complaining...although being awoken at 7:00 am
after a really sleepless night is never a good thing...and it is always nice to know that
people are interested in hearing what you have to say.
This morning it was Joshua at KRAI-FM
in Craig/Steamboat Springs, Colorado, a state I have not visited (although I'd like to) and one in
which I have done exactly zero interviews. It was a music station, which means they talked to me
in between songs and news and weather and traffic, and we talked about...hmmm, what could it have been...
oh, right, Sea Monkeys! I love talking about Sea Monkeys, but it was a little early today...not even
time to have a cup of tea to clear the frog in my throat. So if you had a chance to hear the interview,
I have to warn in you in advance that I sound a bit like Doris the lunch lady, about as attractive as a
pneumonia sufferer in the throes of a coughing fit. But that's what happens when I get a few hours
sleep...I sound like a dying giraffe.
